  • How to set up IE under Wine. (I know, but some of us want to be able to verify that our pages are at least legible!)
  • Anything under the subject of hardware hacking that allows the hardware to do something that was unintended but is fun, practical, or both (such as the DSlinux Experement). Other prime examples can be found in the book: "Hardware Hacking: Having Fun While Voiding Your Warranty" (Link to B&N bookstore online; may have pop-ups for IE users). I am researching this subject and would be willing to make a presentation when I get enough information on the subject. Any other information would be greatly appreciated. --Yomic

Podcasting

I will be giving a presentation on receiving podcasts in Linux at the February 5, 2005 meeting. It will cover an overview of syndication through rss/xml and use of client software. While short, Podcasting is extremely fun, and a great way to get fresh content.

WINE

I will be giving a presentation on wine in Linux. Want to run the latest games or office applications in linux? Then come on down and I will show you how! Feb 5 @ 2 pm is the place to be to learn how to move away from Windows once and for all.
